9747f5aa57 feat: add compression support for in-memory builds
- Support gzip and zstd compression for in-memory builds (no outdir)
- Save buffer data before toJS() empties it
- Create additional BuildArtifacts for compressed versions
- Add comprehensive tests for in-memory compression
- Handle source map compression for in-memory builds

22c4dd1f60 feat: add TypeScript definitions and expectBundled support for compression
- Add compress option to BuildConfigBase in bun.d.ts with full JSDoc documentation
- Add compress to BundlerTestInput interface in expectBundled
- Pass compress option through expectBundled to BuildConfig
- All tests verify that compressed files exist alongside original files
- Tests check both compressed and uncompressed files exist as expected

The feature is now fully integrated with proper TypeScript support.

efd4cdb604 refactor: clean up compression code and reduce duplication
- Extract duplicated compression logic into helper function compressAndWriteFile
- Fix error handling by removing catch unreachable after logging
- Move imports to helper function to avoid duplication
- Fix format specifiers for string slices ({s} instead of {})
- Reduce code duplication from ~200 lines to ~130 lines

The compression functionality remains unchanged but is now cleaner and more maintainable.

cc1c2e0b49 feat: add source map compression support
- Compress source map files (.map) when compression is enabled
- Generate .map.gz and .map.zst files alongside compressed JS files
- Update tests to verify source maps are compressed correctly
- Test multiple compression formats used together (both gzip and zstd)
- Source maps often larger than JS files, so compression is valuable

bd81f0665e feat: add compress option to Bun.build JavaScript API
- Add compress option to JSBundler.Config supporting 'gzip', 'zstd', or { gzip: boolean, zstd: boolean }
- Parse compress option in JSBundler.fromJS with proper validation
- Wire up compression settings from JavaScript API to BundleV2
- Add comprehensive tests for JavaScript API compression

The JavaScript API now supports:
- Bun.build({ compress: 'gzip' })
- Bun.build({ compress: 'zstd' })
- Bun.build({ compress: { gzip: true, zstd: true } })

78113d6f87 test: add comprehensive tests for --compress feature
- Test gzip and zstd compression individually and together
- Test with minification, multiple entry points, splitting
- Test with CSS files and source maps
- Test compression ratio on large files
- Test error handling for invalid compression formats
- Test with different output formats (esm, cjs, iife)

218cc9a833 feat(build): add --compress=gzip and --compress=zstd options to bun build CLI
- Add --compress parameter to Arguments.zig
- Add compression struct with gzip and zstd flags to BundlerOptions and LinkerOptions
- Implement compression in writeOutputFilesToDisk using existing libdeflate and zstd bindings
- Write compressed files alongside original output files with .gz and .zst extensions
- Support both compression formats simultaneously or individually
